BestWeb.lk 2020 Feedback Session Update The feedback session for BestWeb.lk 2020 concluded on October 28, 2020, held via Zoom from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in response to the prevailing situation in the country.
During the session, judges' comments and issues related to the participants were discussed with Prof. Gihan Dias and two senior judges. Detailed guidance on how to submit a proper application for the BestWeb.lk competition was provided, covering aspects such as eligibility criteria, award categories, judging criteria, and terms and conditions.
BestWeb.lk is a web-based competition that offers a unique platform to promote and showcase the best Sri Lankan websites and online capabilities, as highlighted by Prof. Gihan Dias, CEO of LK Domain Registry. The competition is open to worldwide users of .lk domains, and there is no cost associated with submitting an application.

To be considered for the Special Awards, applicants in all 12 categories must ensure that their websites are maintained in all three languages. During the initial application process, applicants can indicate their interest in the Special Categories by ticking the "Special Category Optional" box.

All shortlisted sites are eligible for this special award, provided that they meet the minimum criteria based on the total count of traffic and votes.
The selection is based on the awards won by sites created by the developer, including Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit awards, with consideration given to the total marks achieved.
