“Cyber Surekuma” booklet that was composed by Hithawathi project was launched on 08th of October 2021 via Zoom platform as a virtual event. This book is created to provide the knowledge about the threats found in cyber space and the ways to prevent students facing such harassments. Further, it gives the knowledge about the channels that are available in Sri Lanka to report such a harassment. For this event, additional secretary of State Ministry of Educational reforms, open universities and distance learning promotion Mr Neil Gunadasa, Professor Gihan Dias, Principal of Kingswood college Kandy Mr Upali Chandrakumara were participating as guests.
All the parties who supported in the development of the book were invited. Mr Neil Gunadasa, Professor Gihan Dias and Mr Upali Chandrakumara held their speeches about the book.
