2018- bestweb competition concluded for the eight time to recognize the best website's in Sri Lanka. This competition is only for .lk domain holder's in Sri Lanka.
2018 bestweb competition - held at Hotel Galadari at Grand Ball on the 18th July 2018 and the Chief Guest was Mr. Rohan Samarajeewa, Chairman of ICTA was present and delivered an outstanding speech related to the field.
Prof. Gihan Dias, CEO of LK domain registry, the "Domain Registrar" delivered the opening Speech and welcome the gathering.

Applicant compliance to the rules and regulation is a must and based on the security check-up will be short listing for the competition these short listed applicant will be evaluated by an independent qualified IT professional in the industry to re-evaluate the website for ranking under the stipulated 9 categories listed on bestweb.lk website.
There will be a final judging day, a meet-up with all Senior Judges and discuss openly to valuation and re-raking to re-confirm the decisions made in respect of website winners.
Winners are categorized such as gold,silver bronze for all 9 categories and awarded with a valuable trophies for recognition for being a valuable winner of bestweb.lk while others reaching substantial level of standards are issued with valuable appreciation merit certificates.
