School Web Design Competition 2019

School Web Design Competition of Sri Jayawrdenapura Educational Zone was held on 22-11-2019

In collaboration with Ministry of Education Prof. Gihan Dias initiated a project called "Suhurusara" where students will develop their IT Skills by learning programing languages, Web Designing, Networking etc., 

Children were given an opportunity to show their talent by participating in an inter school web designing competition where their websites were evaluated and prizes were awarded.

Web Design Competition among these schools held and  the Award Ceremony held on November 22, 2019.

Ø  Gold Award – President’s college Maharagama (Rs.100,000/-)

Ø  Silver Award – Malabe Rahula Balika Vidyalaya ( Rs.75,000/-)

Ø  Bronze Award – Kolonnawa Balika Vidyalaya ( Rs.50,000/-)

The Official Launch of ‘INFOTEL 2019’ The National ICT Expo under the theme “Towards a Digital Nation” The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS), the apex body of the ICT industry, hosts the INFOTEL 2019, the National ICT Exhibition, for the 27th consecutive year with the distinguished presence of Hon. Ajith P Perera, Minister of Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology and Chairman INFOTEL Steering Committee 2019, at the Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology. This year’s INFOTEL held from 1st to 3rd November 2019 at the BMICH.

The scope of the INFOTEL has grown over the years and today also features ICT education and training, software solutions, hardware and digital devices, ICT education and training, mobile computing, systems integration, computer gaming, cloud computing and emerging technologies which are conducive to economic development of Sri Lanka have been added in the exhibition.
