The training session was held on 15th November 2022 at IDM Kandy Campus with the physical participation of Nenasala operators. The session was conducted by Danushka Somasiri (University of Uppsala, Sweden) who was the course creator and with Chamali Perera (Senior Web Developer, LK Domain Registry) as the resource person to give the guidance needed throughout the session.
The workshop was concluded with a timely discussion done by Prof. Gihan Dias (CEO and Domain Registrar, LK Domain Registry) with Nenasala operators on how to expand these technologies to rural areas in the country and how to improve training sessions like this to cater to the general public.
Targeting to expand our reach for many stakeholders through Nenasala centers situated island-wide, LK Domain Registry will move forward continuing to conduct National Level Training Programs in coming years.
