For the first time ever, the LK Domain Registry has introduced a brand new feature in its annual BestWeb.LK competition — the Rating & Review system.

This exciting upgrade gives you, the public, the power to help decide the Most Popular Websites in Sri Lanka.

Moving beyond traditional vote counts, this new system introduces a transparent, fair, and quality-driven evaluation process that values both public ratings and verified user input. It’s not just about popularity — it’s about impact and user experience.

⭐ How It Works

✅ 1. Rate Your Favorite Websites

• Explore shortlisted websites organized by category.

• Rate each on a scale from 1 to 5, once per site.

• A website must collect at least 400 verified ratings to be eligible for the “Most Popular” title.

• Verified ratings (via OTP) have full weight; guest ratings count less to ensure fairness.

✍️ 2. Leave a Review

• After rating, you can leave a private review (not visible to the public).

• These reviews will be seen by judges and developers to improve site quality.

• Feedback will be compiled and shared with participants for valuable insight.

🏆 3. Qualify for the Most Popular Website Award

• Among all qualified sites, the one with the highest average score will be named the Most Popular Website in its category.

Participants can:

• Display the BestWeb.LK Rating Logo on their websites.

• Promote their website via social media, ads, and other ethical marketing efforts.
